Wreck it Ralph 2 Ralph Breaks The Internet Trailer RANT

Disney enough is ENOUGH! Enjoy Guys as I RANT on the TRASH! Trailer for the sequel to a Disney Flick I fall overrated. Full of product placement, apps and SEXIST JOKES!

Mastermind, Academic, Slot Guru, Travel Junkie, Lana Del Ray's Botox Injector. I make up a dream in my head before I go to bed.

  1. I like the first film but I did get Emoji Movie vibes from this trailer. What was Elsa doing in the princesses' room anyway? She's a damn QUEEN!

  2. I respect your opinion Harry, but Wreck-It Ralph 1 and 2 have no relation to The Emoji Movie, The Angry Birds Movie, or any of Sony's product placement movies, and here's why.

First-off as you just said, Disney and Sony work and think differently. Disney, even in their bad times, always look like they're trying, because they DO care about their fans, no matter how many times those ungrateful fake Star Wars fans try to convince you otherwise. Now Sony, they do somewhat care about the fans, but the problem is, they focus way too much on style, rather than substance.

Second, while the Wreck-It Ralph movies do have a lot of product placement, it kinda goes unnoticed, because there's a story, characters, and heartwarming messages to be had with them, which all come first. In the first Wreck-It Ralph, we follow an underappreciated character, who although can be arrogant, just wants to feel appreciated, and you understand his motivation, and on his journey learns how to get appreciation, while also accepting himself for who he is. And the whole world of the Arcade, not only is very creative, but also makes sense and feels realistic. And then in Wreck-It Ralph 2, Ralph and Vanellope have to travel into the Internet to find a replacement part for the game Sugar Rush, which is broken, which gives them a reason to travel into the Internet, and not just for the gimmick's sake. Yes, there's millions of product placement in this movie, but again, I guarantee you, it will kinda go unnoticed, not just because of story, characters and messages first, but also because the product placement doesn't even look like its trying to stick out (e.g. I don't even recognize the Twitter birds). But when it comes to Sony, they just bombard you with product placement, to the point where you can't even enjoy the movie.

And third, responding to criticism. Do you wanna know why Disney is accusing the ungrateful fake Star Wars fans of being s****t (I'm bleeping the word, because YouTube Monitoring is a joke)? Because that's exactly what these fake fans are acting like, so even though Disney could be more original with their comebacks, at least I understand why they respond like that. With Sony, no I don't. Yes, they get harassed too (e.g. The same people won't stop b***hing about how much they hate Ghostbusters (2016) on that first trailer), but they don't have a reason to respond like that.

And as for Rapunzel's "Strong Man" quote, that actually isn't s****t at all, because even though not all the Disney Princesses have a Prince, and are perfectly capable of handling themselves, they did need help from a big strong man. With the exception of Merida and Elsa, Mulan had help from Shang, Anna had help from Kristoff, and Moana had help from Maui. Oh, and Vanellope also had help from Ralph. So Rapunzel is 100% right. The quote might not sound nice, but it's actually just supposed to be very tongue-in-cheek. Same thing with Kathleen Kennedy's "Force is Female" t-shirts; They were wearing them to promote Nike, not Star Wars. And the t-shirts themselves aren't f**king s****t! Get your facts straight people, and do your f**king research properly (the disrespectful people at least).

I'm really looking forward to Wreck-It Ralph 2, even if it doesn't surpass Coco, I'm still super excited for it. I respect your opinion, but I do think you are overreacting a bit, especially when it comes to the CGI Princesses who were originally 2D. I understand if you don't like the design, but those 2D Princesses obviously have to be 3D CGI for this movie.

I hope this comment was helpful.

P.S. Did you see Disney's A Wrinkle in Time?

  3. Idk about this, but this is crazy. I agree about Disney made the wreck it Ralph that will put Disney princess on it. I’m only like 1st wreck it Ralph movie and we will see about it. We should give the movie 1 out of 5 just like the emoji movie

  4. What is wrong with product placements? I didn’t feel any product placements! Everything looks glorious!

  5. WHOA WHOA WHOA, you think Wreak it Ralph is Overrated??? It's one of my favorite animated movies of all time

  6. I don’t see any Product Placements. Plus, this movie doesn’t come out until November.

  7. Great trailer rant, Harry! I am hopefully going to review the original Wreck-it-Ralph in anticipation for this sequel but even I wasn’t really all that compelled to watch this trailer anyway and especially because they seem to have completely forgotten their own movies when it comes to the Disney princesses and it really goes to show that Disney are sort of more tiring themselves out than necessary at this point in order to make money because they have so many movies yet to come out this year (this, Christopher Robin, The Nutcracker, The Incredibles 2, Mary Poppins Returns, etc.) (and to honestly think that Solo: A Star Wars Story and A Wrinkle in Time recently bombing at the box office was the least of their problems).
